Default S2 steering column info

Hi, Im rebuilding the RS after a full restoration and decided to swap the old rack, problem is the steering column literally has no bushes or anything installed. It’s just the bar that the steering wheel bolts to inside the metal tube. Obviously this can’t be rite?

cab anybody show me what I should have installed or a diagram of the break down so I can try buy correct parts etc.

cheers

Cheers mate, I’ve got the spring and black plastic cup at bottom of column but no roller bearing or white plastic bush. It literally just rattles around. Wonder if these can still be purchased? I’ll have a look on eBay.
