Default Rear fog light issue

My focus st225 rear fog lights not working. Done most of the obvious checks, changed the bulb checked the fuse, cleaned the connection points and swapped the bulb holder still nothing. The light on the dash comes on so thinking this rules out the switch? Only thing I haven't checked is if there is juice to the bulb (waiting for a tester). Is it known for the wiring to be ag fault? Any suggestions much appreciated.

common for holders to decay on these , you simply need the tester to see if powers getting to the socket

I have tried the fog holder in the reverse side and it worked, I'm thinking it's going to be some sort of wiring issue.

I have tested and no power is getting to the bulb holder! If the indicator light on the dash is on does this mean the switch is ok as the fronts work?

You made no mention of checking power, but yes IF no power is present you need to trace the wiring back, given the troubleshooting thus far.

Also do the front and back turn on as one?
