Handbrake cable
Good evening all ,
At last I have built up a small amount of enthusiasm to do some work on the 2wd sapp Cossie , the rear callipers need changing as they are seized solid , however the hand brake cable ain’t budging from the calliper ffs!
I have loosened off the plastic nuts , unhooked the cable but the cable ain’t budging From the calliper where is slides throughI have the feeling the only way to remove it is to go bat shit with a hammer and chisel to force it out. Before I go down that route wanted to check if any one knows any cheat routes.
Much love

There is a small circlip on the back of the hole holding the cable in. Did you remove that? Even with it removed it can be quite tight, so maybe put some WD40 on it.
