Sorry if this is in the wrong section.....first time noob post!
First off.....I have a 2007 zetec s fiesta with a massive knock on bottom end, taken sump off and crank on no.3 has worn quite badly due to previous owner running it dry.
I understand the crank is 44mm at the bottom of the rods, are the 1.25s and 1.4 engines using this crank?
Secondly, were these zetec s engines used in other models or were they specifically designed for the zetec s, I've seen that the fusion uses a fyja engine but unsure If they would go in as a direct replacement?
I'm going to strip the engine and see what's what and see what my cheapest option is!
