Default Mk3 mondeo st dilemma

First off hello all ford people great to be here yet again!
As title says my mk 3 St mondeo has a few issues firstly it suffers from a lumpy idle this is the same when it's hot and cold but strangely sometimes(not every time) it will sit at traffic lights running smoothly for a second or two before it returns to lumpy running. Secondly it smokes like buggery (black smoke when you even give it a little poke (no smoke when idling). Thirdly when it's warmed up it sometimes loose a bit of power like it's not boosting (no longer has the pull it had before it lost power) it dont always do this and when it do NO lights come on the dash when it do this. Lastly you can drive it hard hitting red line no issues however sometimes when really giving it a good seeing to the dreaded glow plug light flash up until do the usual switch off reset very odd as you can redline it through the gears before it gets to this no fault is stored until it do this 4/5 times then the eml comes on reading p0251 fault code

Any ideas will be appreciated very much itl be nice to get the car running 100% again
