Hi Guys

Recently purchased the car. Its currently in the body shop to get an idea of whats required restoration wise. I am after some advice on the best place to get some panels, Floor pans,sills, arches etc. I've seen plenty on ebay but is there any advice on the quality and if anyone would recommend anywhere.

Once i have an idea of what the car requires i am going to decide on what route to take with the car.

once I get into work on Monday I’ll message you the name of the guys I used for panels, I got a lot of galvanised parts , the sills were the best I’ve saw I just can’t remember the name of the place. Check out my thread doing up my RST the hard way, you can see the sills and they’re quality. Most of the floor pans and battery tray member are all magnum they are fine got a magnum sill and chucked it in the scrap it was tripe then came across that other guy and got the pair of galvanised sills .If you’re looking for nos check out a seller on eBay goes by the name Clomoco has almost anything genuine, I got chassis legs and doors from him new original. He has wings ,door skins, xmembers ,chassis legs ,rear panels, the list goes on but he is expensive and doesn’t really negotiate.

This was my car in 2009-2012 and again in 2014. Unfortunately I had to keep it outside under a tarpaulin in the winter of 2011 and it rusted from the inside out. Was my pride and joy. Sold it for £1500 and I literally cried when it went. I still miss it now! I bought it from Phil Ward who had it from nearly new and was once concours.
