I acquired this car last week and drove the 20 miles home perfectly. it was a Sunday and i work away all week so it sat all week and i couldn't wait to get home Friday to have a go in her and she performed faultlessly
but on Saturday i notice that it seemed to be hesitating when i pushed the gas pedal down which progressively got worse and by the end of the day produced a engine malfunction message which was reset after re starting but today the malfuction warning stays on and the car wont rev above 1500 like its in limp mode? anyone had this before?

I would start by having the fault codes read.

 

Yep Injector 4 faulty or open circuit.. according to forscan
