Who has one and where did you get your from,or who made you it?? I'm after another one for my cossie since I've snapped it ha ha.
The size of mine is 34cm long and 9cm high.
Made mine myself. Got it made in a shop (tbh I got the guy to fiddle with the 5 and make it look more like an 'S') when they still had to stick the numbers on the reflective sheet, then spent an hour or so cutting and filing it down
Glenn. Just a word of caution, the MOT is getting new rules all the time and number plates have to comply with the correct size and format. My Saff failed on it's number plates because the background can apparently stop speed camera's from getting a clear photo! Been on the car for 24 years with no problems !

I always put my standard plate back on for mot times.
I got my shortened plate from dmb graphics, if you have a 5 or 6 digit plate then as long as you keep the minimum distance around the letters, the actual plate can be any size you like.
If you want a plate with smaller letters etc then there are plenty of places online, just have a search for show plates.
I've even thought about going to a place that does stickers and see if the can print one out then I could get a piece of perpex and cut it to size to fit the sticker.
That's what I was thinking of doing. I was gonna go to one of these graffic/sticker places and see if I could get them to make the sticky part so I could attach it to some perpex from the back so that it will look like a proper plate.
I had a rear bike plate as my front one, was proper tiny. Used to wake up in the morning to find the local army base police had left fines on the car, I used to just stick them behind the rear view mirror so I could sort them out later. When I sold the car there was quite a few of them stuck there, never did pay them
It is odd that the fine for displaying an incorrectly spaced / specced number plate is higher than not displaying one at all.... Have you seen how many supercars do not bother running front plates anymore?

Lots of super cars were never designed to have a front plate I.e. Italian Ferrari, they do look much better without. I have just had my Tt front bumper totally smoothed and would prefer without a plate, my 205 front bumper has to have plate obscuring the opening for the intercooler, not ideal when you want as much airflow as poss....think I will stick one on the bonnet like a rally car.

Are you still allowed to put the vinyl printed front number plate on the bonnet? I used to have one one the bonnet of my modified Anglia 105e.
