Fiesta XR2i Rallysprint Car
Hi everyone,
My name is Andrzej (Andrew) and I'm from Poland.
I have been using Fiesta XR2i 1990 for 6 years. The car serves me as a rally car and has undergone a number of modifications since then.
I would like to describe and present the final modifications and my idea for XR2i Rallysprint by Bobson
The general assumption is to start in rallies and rallysprints in the class up to 2000cm3 capacity. The goal is ~ 900kg weight and 200PS + N/A
Engine:
- 2.0 NGA
- Pipercams 285H, OBP Vernier Pulleys
- Inlet and exhaust Valves + 1mm (in plans) and full machining of the head
- ITB based on GSXR1300 trumpets + Saab Turbo injectors
- forged Wossner 12:1 pistons and forged connecting rods
- balanced crankshaft, suppressed flywheel (from 8.6kg to 4.2kg)
- baffles in an oil sump, 13 rows oil cooler with thermostat
- polyurethane engine mounts
- dedicated (according to calculations) exhaust manifold and the rest of the exhaust (in plans)
- EasyEcu 3+ standalone computer with a multifunction display
Transmission:
- Fiesta MK6 TDCi housing
- Torsen Val Racing 50% 10Kg
- hybrid gears and main gear ratio 200km/h@7500rpm
- 4-blade sinter clutch
- Vibratechnix box mounts
Braking system:
- rally pedalbox with adjustable braking force distribution front/rear
- front discs 280mm ST150 or 300mm ST170 (under 15 "rim)
- Focus MK1 rear discs, braking force corrector

- bucket seats, chair mounts for the floor in accordance with Annex J
Suspenion:
- Gas Gold coilover kit
- Powerflex Black Series bushings
- RS Turbo ball joints
