Default Sierra steering wheel removal

Hi guys,

As a christmas present I will receive a new steering wheel for my sierra cosworth 4x4.
But I don't find any instructions on the internet how to remove my stock steering wheel.
As it is in good conditions, it don't want to damage it.
Can anybody give me some instructions how to loosen the horn button?

Grtzzzzz

Bart

I used one of my plastic tools for removing trim panels, or wrap some tape around a fine flat head screwdriver.

Gently ease the rim of the centre out to reveal the retaining nut and horn wires.

Someone will jump in here but I thunk you need to have the key in the ignition to release the lock to fully remove the wheel from the spline.

As above, remove horn push, undo 22mm bolt, key in ignition and pull

Top tip don't remove the bolt completely out leave it in a few threads, as when you put loads of force on the wheel pulling towards you it stops it knocking your teeth out when it gives
