Default Does anyone know....

If the rear bumper should have a cap over the towing eye? If so where can I get one from, eBay doesn’t show any
Here’s a pic of the car in question

Yes it should have a cover on it like mine.

Looks neater with the cover over it.
Have you tried robrs2 on here ? He has been making new towing eye covers from plastic which look just like the original Ford ones.

That car does have the flap on, its popped up its a common fault, pull it back level with the bumper and a bit of gaffer tape on the back edge and it will sit as it should

the towing eye itself shouldn't have anything covering it only the flap on the bumper that moves so that it doesn't get damaged when you attach anything to the tow eye

yes you are absolutely right, I checked it this morning & it’s all there, pulled it down properly & it’s fine now.
