Saph Cossie pas rack bushes.
Does anyone know of any where that sells the bushes that go in the steering rack? I changed mine to solid bushes and I don't like them. I've had a good search and can't seem to find either standard rubber bushes or poly ones.

Thanks very much for that matey.
The worst mod ever I did to the cossie was these solid rack mounts.

What didn’t you like about the solid ones? Too harsh? Was thinking about changing mine, as I guess they’re shot, sometimes get a clunk from the front end...

You can feel everything through the steering. I regret fitting them now in all honesty.
The poly bushes I've seen for the rack areabout 80quid. Cool that price.

Wasn’t aware that you get solid ones? Are they just a solid cylinder of alloy, with a hole down the middle?

I guess if you solid bush one bit you need to accept the harshness and solid everything...that’s what I ended up doing but you lose the every day ease of the car and it becomes a blasting weapon only.

Everything on my car is either going to be solid bushed or rose jointed, I think the only bushes left is my top mounts which are poly and my gearbox cradle which is standard

No just bought an mk 6 degree beam so that’s rose jointed and I’ve used alloy bushes to mount it to my shell
