Default Tdc when using Kent Vernier pully

As above am wanting to change Cambelt on my series 1 rs turbo. It’s fitted with a Kent vernier pulley, but there is no pointer on the Kent pulley to align with the marks on the head?

can anyone advise how I align the pulley with the mark on the head so is at TDC?

thanks in advance

Use a Dial indicator and follow the proper procedure (something like http://www.burtonpower.com/tuning-gu...ng-timing.html - there are better guides but i couldnt be arsed to google for them at 6 in the morning)

TDC relates to crank position....what camwheels are fitted are irrelevant.

If you're just changing the belt and need some before/after markings, and are happy current belt is installed correctly, TippEx works wonders.
