Default 0 oil pressure on idle

as title really. on cold start pressure is around 55psi then slowly drops as the oil heats up. when driving Round stays between 35-45 psi but then on idle at a junction etc it's on 0. then drive off and it's up again? am I right in thinking a nakered pump ?

Always worth checking with a different pressure gauge, but probably main or big end bearings have gone, sorry

If it was actually at 0, you'd know about it noise alone. And by the sounds of it, you're driving about with these figures showing, so if it has been hitting 0, its going to be far more than a knackered pump and big ends to look at now

I'd be checking with a 2nd gauge/sender at this point too regardless
