New car was delivered Friday, just been out in it today the kids love it.
super quiet, comfortable with all the toys, and almost enough grunt to keep me entertained.
Just gonna get stage 1 remap for about 680 hp and leave it at that, the dealer had a Bentley flying spur aswell which I did like the look and sound of, but when I spoke to him he said aside from the badge the RS6 is the better car for what I want from it and still got the gtr for the mad stuff
Few pics I took

Has the carbon pack which I had to have especially on a white car

You weren't near Silverstone yesterday? I was pootling up the A43 on the Mad Max when one of those pulled out in front of me. I was just about to slam on the anchors when it entered warp drive and shot off.

I don't really know why I went for white, I was just looking at them and white with the carbon pack just did it for me, I was looking at the performance edition but they have springs instead of the air suspension making for a permanent stiff ride all the time which isn't really what I want, on air it's stiff enough on dynamic and in comfort mode it's silly smooth and jacked up giving plenty of ground clearance, in 8th gear it's 2000 rpm at 80 mph and it shuts down 4 cylinders at cruise for extra mpg.
I just gotta make my mind up stage 1 for 680 hp, or full exhaust with downpipes and stage 3 map for 750 hp

About Ł3k more I think for full miltek with downpipes
That's the thing the map is Ł1500, I'm just thinking do I get them to put full exhaust on before going on the Dyno

After filling the car up with v power there is a noticeable difference in the performance of the car, I can only assume it had premium in it.
But the thing is on a standard car would there be any noticeable difference ?
I bought it as standard bar a k and n panel filter, once gtr is home think I need to get the vbox in it to verify 0-100 mph time, stock is 8.7 seconds, stage 1 should I think be into the 7s.
Need to check before I drive 100 miles just to end up being charged to be told it's stage 1 anyway lol

I had the performance for the day and there really are a beast! Get down to MRC and get it mapped, you will be talked into stage 2 i think.
Been told a stage 2 will thrash a GTR running 650hp.

It is noticeably faster with some v power in it, I can't see that being the case if it was standard, my v box will tell me when it's back then I'll go from there, they run 1.2 bar of boost standard I've emailed MRC to find out what boost they run stage 1

Autocar review tested a 2013 RS6 @ 0-100 in 8.7 seconds, so got me camera out far from perfect measuring and didn't launch, but did exactly 8.7 so I'm fairly sure it is standard

Yoiks! That's mental. My Mad Max does 10.11, not that I can afford the tyres to try it myself. My mates stock ZZR14 clocked 9.19 @151, and that was barking. Really too much for sensible road use, despite what he kept telling me.
How long does a set of tyres last on a car like that if you're regularly accessing the performance, and how much does a set of decent rubber cost?

10.1 is seriously quick, my quickest in the gtr has been 10.7 @ 117 mph as I coasted over the line

The gtr needs r888 Toyos all round to tame 1000 hp, but the RS6 is on good year road tyres, the missus V12 Q7 is on jinyu tyres and they've been great to be fair done over 20000 miles and being changed next week, AWD and alot of mass above them even 600 hp is easily put to the tarmac

Don't know if all Audis are the same, but my S4 wouldn't rev over 4000 rpm in neutral before it was remapped - it's an easy way to check on the B8.5 DSG cars.

Booked in with MRC this morning for early july, standard map is 17 psi 560hp 700 nm, stage 1 is 24 psi, 660-690 hp, 950 nm, very close to a 700hp/700lbft spec which should keep me entertained
Engine service is due and transmission never been done so getting that done aswell ready for the power hike, normally service stuff myself but think I really need to keep the book properly stamped up on this one
