I think Jezzer will be back, I also think it's funny how big personalitys can get away with almost anything in the BBC. I was working in a different warehouse last week and that twat Johnathan Ross was presenting a show on the Radio 2. Can you imagine if us mere mortals abused a customer or even twated a co worker !

she is terrible in front of a camera when she has to speak, when she did that classic car show with quentin wilson it was a painful watch , they have tried evans and now le blanc its time for them to either pack up or eat humble pie

 

I spoke to Sue Perkins about 6 months ago and there were rumours of her doing it but I don’t think she is very interested.

 

As long as they don't go anywhere near that Vicki butler mcshitwipe I don't mind! Sue Perkins is scraping the barrel though isn't it?

 

Unfortunately there is/was no chemistry with new presenters, and BBC sticking with the 'old' format meant their job was even harder. Agree Jodie Kidd was awful on classic car show.

 

Surprised at all the hate. I thought LeBlanc and Harris were really starting to gel. Rory was still a bit crap but I thought it was starting to come together. I think people forget how shit Clarkson, Hammond and May were when May first joined. Not to mention that they had to bring May in because Jason Dawe wasn't working.

It's going to be hard for them to reboot again.

 

They need to ditch the current format. Chris Harris is great at reviewing cars but watching him on top gear trying to be one of the old trio is quite painful to watch at times. He just needs to be himself and he'd be so much better. Rory or what ever he's called is just useless full stop!
I like Jodie Kids but yeah she was useless on that classic car show.

 

I thought matt was terrible on top gear, and none of them gelled, i really used to enjoy chris harris’s YouTube stuff but he was painful to watch on top gear, he was just trying too hard to be funny or how the old lot were. It was imo getting really crap before jezza left also, it had just got too fake amd ridiculous for my liking. Think the show is done now and they should do something completely new

 

The place I do most of my work for pretty much do that on a daily basis. Management are fucking morons !

Although money will talk for them to go back to the BBC, they should all just let TG die

 

I Think Matt help the show together and the other 2 equated to a thick Beaves and Butt head and if Clarkson goes back then he will be a bigger cunt than he already is

What would be nice is if they could go back a good few years and actually do some better car reviews and then mix in some silly stuff. Maybe feature important cars, new car releases etc. I would love to see them do a piece on Rods car like 5th Gear did all those years ago, take along the film crew to a top speed shoot out meet etc.

Gezza brought his 355 Ferrari to a track day once and they filmed that and showed it.

 

I would just like to see a motoring based program with road and track and feature runs of higher end cars without all the pointless "entertaining" crap. im not really bothered about who does it.
theres an old top gear on dave just now, its gringeworthy how pointless and stage managed some of the feaures are!

 

There is endless car-related content on YouTube. No mainstream TV channel is going to do something like that anymore, there's no ratings in it.

The problem you have is that the people who liked the original format have stopped watching
So there needed to be a new style of show
Shouty bollocks still thought it was the 90's and they did the right thing in booting him
But Harris is boring beyond belief, he couldn't get exciting reading a porn mag, but I'm sure Clarkson could make reading the FIA regulations sound interesting
Token McTokenson should have stuck to cbeebies, he was great for 5 minutes and then he starting to grate
I slowly warmed to Matt, he came into his own in a few of the longer ones, like his trip to America, the report was rubbish but he was entertaining
Sabine was too forced
The only one I really liked off the bat was uncle Eddie
And they wasted the stig too

 

I really like Harris and it is unfortunate that people / producers are expecting him to fit with the jokes, he is there to be THE expert driver and road tester that he is.

 

Don't think he's made the transition from YouTube to the small screen though
