Default Fiesta MK6 Standard vs Spare Steel Rims

Hi All

I've got a 2003 Fiesta LX 1400 (1.4 L Duratec 16V EFI DOHC [75/80PS]) with factory steel rims. I need a couple of replacements and I know the Ford part number, which is 1749456. I was looking to buy some used ones but all my local breakers have just disappeared, so I'm kinda reliant on the online sources.

I've seen quite a few "Spare Wheels" for sale which are in very good condition and are full sized (175/65/R14 i.e. full width) but they all have a yellow "Max 80km/h" sticker on them. I'm guessing the sticker is there because a wheel kept in the boot and possibly neglected for a long time (unbalanced/perished) might be a potential hazard if used at high speed, but does anyone know of a reason that the steel rim itself might be different from the factory steels. I've had a good look at these "Spares" and they look exactly like the standard ones. All comments welcome..

Cheers

Wheels are just the same but the spare has a different size tyre so its classed as a space saver ,so just take of the yellow sticker and fit the right size tyre.

Thanks Sierra

As a matter of interest, anyone know what what size the space saver tyre is on an official spare with the yellow sticker? I guess it must be narrower, hence "space saver". I was hoping to be able to buy a wheel and tyre together like in the photo attached (which actually has a 175/65/R14 on it already). Obviously it would have to be in good nick with tread and good sidewalls etc. It's funny, all the steel spares I'm seeing for sale look like they've got full size tyres on (175/65/R14) hence I was a bit confused.
Cheers
