Default Fiesta MK6 Standard vs Spare Steel Rims

Hi All

I've got a 2003 Fiesta LX 1400 (1.4 L Duratec 16V EFI DOHC [75/80PS]) with factory steel rims. I need a couple of replacements and I know the Ford part number, which is 1749456. I was looking to buy some used ones but all my local breakers have just disappeared, so I'm kinda reliant on the online sources.

I've seen quite a few "Spare Wheels" for sale which are in very good condition and are full sized (175/65/R14 i.e. full width) but they all have a yellow "Max 80km/h" sticker on them. I'm guessing the sticker is there because a wheel kept in the boot and possibly neglected for a long time (unbalanced/perished) might be a potential hazard if used at high speed, but does anyone know of a reason that the steel rim itself might be different from the factory steels. I've had a good look at these "Spares" and they look exactly like the standard ones. All comments welcome..

Cheers
