Just a Query about how you guys go about fitting these to the rear of a mk2 escort, Originals have cuts in them to slide over the bar for easy wrap round installation but the poly bush ones are solid , Do you guys cut a slot in the new polybush and wrap around bar and let the clamp hold the bush. or do you strip the whole lot down and slide it over the end making more hassle .. opinions please ,..

 

I would strip it and slide it over.

 

 

thanks guys x2 different opinions , i was wondering if cutting the bush it would loose its rigidness overtime but if folk have cut the bush and not had problems then it would be simpler, but if it effected the bush then i would have went for taking an end of the bar and sliding both into place
