Ive got a non rusty fuel pump cradle and want to replace the bush mounts on it as they're shagged.
Someone told me, plus sure ive seen polly ones on other cars but after spending 10mins typing various things into google im none the wiser.
Anybody got a link please?
Cheers

As far as i am awre these have never been obsolete as in my 10 years as a ford partsman in main dealer they were available and in the last year I have ordered quite a few and they always been available. I might be wrong though and missed a few months out. No matter though

i think some of u have got the wrong idea of what i want. Im not talking about the bobbings which grip the fuel pump, im talking about the 2 big doughnut rubbers that are on the fuel pump cradle plate that the bolt goes through and into the chassis.

give these a bell ...they are a smaller company than powerflex and might be more willing to make a one off set for you

Also found out that you can use vauxhall fuel filter dampers that cost 2 quid each and do the same job of stopping the vibration of the fuel pump.
I think any astra, corsa ones will be fine.
Cheers

I'll measure my old ones when i go to where my cars stored at the weekend. Those cosworth ones look a different shape tbh, but may well do the job.

These bushes are already made by rsspares.com The lad who runs it is a good bloke and I have bought many parts from him. He has an ebay shop but if you google rsspares it will bring up his website. The site is a bit basic but the quality of the bushes are very good, as I have personally seen them. Ł10.95 + p&p which is a couple of quid I think and they come with new nuts too.

guess i'll have to order these cossie ones then and see if they fit. Why is nothing simple on these cars or readily available. I used to work at a jaguar restoration place and for a old 1960 xk u could get nearly every part new from various companies that reproduce parts. Guess its supply and demand and not many people want to produce parts for a old mk4 escort.
