Default S2 rs turbo abs wiring problem

Hi all. In need of help with the abs wiring..... I have an xr3i converted to s2 rs turbo setup, abs pumps were already on xr3i. Purchased an rs turbo loom and looks as if the abs wiring is non existant or been cut out! Any suggestions? Or shall I just get another s2 loom with abs relay plug and wiring ?

thanks in advance

ABS wiring loom/harness is separate to the main loom, theres a plug near the battery tray, fan heater box which is yellow. on this loom you'll find the 2 pressure sensors. The fuse/relay would be in the main fuse box.

I've got my ABS fully removed, But taped up the ABS loom and left it in situ.

Are you wanting to fit this loom, If not you should remove every ABS item, as if anything is left on and the tester see this he should fail the car.

Does the ABS light come off with the handbrake, Also if you remove the ABS bulb the handbrake light will always stay on.

ABS bulb removed does not put the handbrake light on permanently. I've done it to mine.

Yes I know, If the ABS fails the handbrake light stays on permanently, Hense if you remove the ABS bulb the handbrake light will still stay lit. Tried and tested on my S2 when I first got mine and tried a quick fix to get it through an MoT.

Why does my handbrake light work perfectly then, abs modulators removed, hydraulics re piped. Wiring for belt tension switches are tucked away and the ABS bulb is removed from the instruments.

Yes because its been removed. If theres a fault in a ABS the handbrake light will stay on.IE both lights stay lit up.

Example, Snapped belt The ABS light will light up, so will the handbrake light, light up.

I've fully removed my ABS as per what you've done. Aswell the handbrake light works as it should. I think you're getting confused by my reply to the OP. He has stuff still fitted, So the ABS light should be on permanently.
