Fitting a rear spring lowering kit
I have an Escort based kitcar and trying to decide which of the kits (1 ins, 1.5 ins or 2 ins) to fit and would be grateful for advice.
The rear springs are the multi leaf rather than the single leaf which is what my Escort had back in my happy days of Escort driving in the 90s.
At present she sits with the rear higher. I reckon a 1 ins kit would make her level and 2 ins would give a slight rear slope which would be ideal (mainly because the rear wndow is slightly high for reversing in car parks and would provide better vision).
Is fitting a lowering kit just trial and error or can someone give me some advice on choosing please?
