Hi all. I’ve just bought a 1 owner 89 S2 with genuine 60k miles in black, the car has every invoice from 1989 for work and mot all done by the same garage. Everything original and never been modded. The car is totally original but my question is would you go for a full respray? It’s had a few car park dings and a bit of paint here and there over the years, I’ve got a great painter I’ve used on my mk1 FRS but I’m not sure if a full paint would take away the originality? Cheers

 

PDR for parking dings, local paint repairs if needed and a good detail...

Or PDR, and full repaint

 

Spot repair will be the best solution I think, I don't know how it is in UK but over here in Belgium the cars with the original color has more value than a repainted one.
