Couple of pics of the car decided to jack it up and give the underside a jetwash so it will be pretty clean before i start doing some work on the underside.

It will defo be a rare car if there is no rust on it.
I used to have a ST170 with bothe climate ans custom packs. It was a bit tatty. The sills and front wings had bits of rust on them.

There is no rust anywhere on the body or in the boot where they rust in corners.

Managed a few hours work this evening having already removed callipers and hubs thought i would tackle the rear subframe gave all the bolts a good soaking with wd40 there are 10 bolts bolting the subframe to the underside of the car these came off with no prob as for everything else was pretty seized so out with the impact wrench which loosend everthing up so dropped the subframe of in one its bigger and heavier than it looks next will be to dismantle and shot blast and powder coat.

lol alot of the bolts were seized couldnt budge them even with power bar but used impact wrench which did loosen them up loosend everything while the subframe was still bolted to car for stability but the 2 lower wishbones which hold springs up were loose but couldnt remove out of the bush so i did have to cut these of with disc cutter.

I would replace all the bushes with poly ones and upgrade the bolt quality too
