That sounds a spring length problem if it is too low more than poundage.

It might be worth getting a standard spring and seeing where it sits from there. Has the old spring broken, is it non standard?

Are the springs old and starting to sag.?
Probably best to buy a new full Spring set as they are usually quite inexpensive. Just need to find out which make you like the ride height of front and rear.

Some lowering spring kits I've fitted give sierras the bum down appearance, I got that peed off with a few sets I tried on my 3 door I put coilovers on that way I can set them to look spot on

Fit good coil overs then you can set the height

Are you sure its the rear is to low or is the front to high? Mine has 35mm Eibach lowered springs front and rear with Koni front shocks and Bilstein rear shocks and it sits nice and level.
As others have said another option is to fit coil overs which can be adjusted to get the ride height spot on.
