Default Help!! Rs turbo Stock rear brakes!

so I have been trying to get my rs turbo through MOT since Wednesday, but I just can't get it to brake on the left rear wheel, when it's on the roller, the left rear wheel just keeps spinning when it should be breaking.
I have replaced the rear brake cylinder with a new one and checked the brake pipes and they are fine, everything seems fine but it just won't brake.

All help will be appreciated, thanks!

I should also mention, that when I try to bleed the left rear brake, no brake fluid seems to come out, and there is brake fluid on the car, the pedal works fine/ is hard, I have tried bleeding by both pumping the pedal and by using a compressor.

You need to jack the suspension arm up to normal height to bleed the brakes on the back, due to the load valves.

Load valve might be knackered then, do you get fluid to the valve but not out of the valve?

What would the solution to that be?
i actually don't know if I get fluid to the valve or out the valve, only know I don't get fluid when i bleed the break.

Slacken the pipe going into the union and have some one apply the brake pedal gently and see if you get fluid squirt out. If you do try the pipe leaving the valve.

The valve could be totally defective, or it might just be seized up. How about disconnecting the linkage for the valve and seeing if you can move the lever attached to the valve.

Thanks I will try that tomorrow!

I have not tried disconnecting the linkage for the valve, but i believe that the lever can be moved, pretty sure i was able to move it earlier.

I'm with Stu, it does sound like the load compensator, I used to have to free mine off almost every year for the MOT years ago!
