Help with wiring a st170 clocks and gauges

Default Help with wiring a st170 clocks and gauges

I'm wondering if anyone has fitted a st170 clocks and gauge pod into a non st car I'm trying to fit it into my 1.4. Also if anyone has a wiring diagram for the clocks and gauges. Any help is appreciated

st gauges operate at different voltage to other models which is why most dont fit them unless your skilled at auto electrics

Ok have you any idea what the voltage is for the green glow i guess you'd call it?? And any idea where I'd get a wiring diagram for the dash??

The transformer for the lighting is within the oil gauges, so you will need to give these a 12v feed then link the 2 gauge units together. I presume there is a cable for this.

Yea there's two wires going from the pod to the clocks

can anyone tell me how the oil pressure and temperature gauges read on a st170 I have the panel lights working and now to wire the gauges but I'm not too sure on the sensor or sender unit for the gauge. Any help is useful.

There is no sensor / sender.

The ecu makes up a figure bassed on things like water temp, rpm and so on and sends it to the dash.

No st engine ecu, no pod workie. End off.
