Must say a v6 170cv is a dream... for me.

Exactly, for the look, first time, body lift will be avoid , so it was so clean when I recove it, 12 years ago..
I see the v6 in mk1 fiesta on this site, but I think it will be easily to transplant in mk2.
I need to bought a manual gearbox because the mondeo is an automatic.

To the transplant, I'm not worried, just the electronical system with ecu bothers me for the moment.

If somebody have a workshop manual for the 2.5L V6 engine (in mondeo 1997), is it possible to share it ?

Ecu isn't as hard as you think but you will need a manual ecu and you need the matching key. Or at least the matching rdif chip from th key.

You only need the engine ecu. You don't need the gems or body ecu or the abs ecu or even the clocks from the dash.

 

This is the 2004 st170. But yours is the same principle if not a little easier.

I find the program on the net, but it is just diagnostic or programation ecu ?

And can I unplug the ecu for engine transplant or need I to keep the ecu always plug with motor.

If I could find a manual for this step, I think it can be easier, cause I don't like it, for the moment , but I have to get used to

Don't know but I like my ford engines.

I've had the 3.0 v6 around six weeks but havnt had time to touch it yet.

This is the current project.

Turbo Zetec / St hybrid on Focus Rs ecu.

It was going in a track day st170 but I've already scrapped it due to being rotten.

 

If this is up forsale when you have it cracked I maybe interested.

En effet, nous ne sommes pas loin du tout, nous aurons surement l'occasion de nous rencontrer j'espere. Le but est de faire tourner la voiture sur le circuit de nogaro, des qu'elle sera prete, donc dans quelques temps..
