Turning zetec bottom end by hand
Hi guys,
I'm putting together a new zetec bottom end and after getting it all together I've noticed that turning the crank with a spanner is significantly more difficult at 90 degrees away from TDC. Is this normal or could it be that the pistons / rings are tight in the middle of the bores?
Its still fairly easy to turn, but I expected it to be one smooth motion. At the time it is more difficult to turn, I can hear what sounds like friction from the piston rings.
Any advice appreciated
thanks
