I have had a search online but cant seem to find any clues so i'm hoping you lot can help me

I've got a 95' Mk3 fiesta 1.3 CFI and I want to know how much work would be involved in swapping the tappet munching power house which is currently in there for a 1.6 CVH lump, as in what needs to be changed etc.

Hate to drag up past threads but I have driven the car in a charity rally across Europe and its back and still alive, I checked underneath and its very (strangely) solid and rot free so im re-visiting the idea of doing this conversion. if anyone can help id be really grateful.

Would be easier to bolt a 1600 cross flow in which is similar to the engine u already have in there

 

been a long while since I had much to do with these conversions. Finding a good cvh might be the hard part so you'd be better off probably looking for a zetec lump as that should be more easily available i'd have though and cheaper. Surely someone on here can offer advice
