Its 2340 cc with 92mm bore and 88mm stroke. Deck height has nothing to do with it.

Doesnt 14mm taller block give higher cc?

Thanks for the info

Is this built as a Rallycross engine with the big ports in the head?

The taller block allows to use long rods with a bigger stroke so rod ratio is perfect.
This will allow for high revs with big capacity.
For 2.7 you need even bigger bore and stroke but i dont know turbocharging would be possible.
The most important is gas flow of the head, bigger doesnt mean better. Rallycross engines mostly are build for torque and have a 45mm restrictor so are limited at around 580bhp and around 900Nm.

Thanks. Yes, I understand 2.7 would only really work with Normally Aspirated.

I am asking a lot about this engine as I want to buy one but I only need max 600bhp and I wonder if this engine would not work as it is built for max power.

Maybe ask Smith&Jones if this engine would be good for 600bhp.
I think they build a gt35 engine which is on there site.
I will swap a standard ported head if you want lol

I would need to speak to Mark Shead at MAD as he would be the person to check it over and map it for me but I THINK he said that head spec would be too big to work at its best with the smaller turbo for 580 / 600 bhp. Already my car takes some getting used to with 469bhp as it probably weighs under a ton now.

Would save the time it's taking for a certain engine builder to sort!

I'd imagine it would be completely useless in my car!
