Series 2 rs turbo rebuild
Hi there I'm busy doing my first rebuild of my series 2 rs turbo, iv welded 4 x new floor plates in, I need some advice on what to do with the old floor numbers. I still have the small patch of plate with all the numbers present, my idea was to try and cut a patch out of the new floor plate and weld the old patch back in and flatten off the welds but if I ever go to sell the car people mite think that it is a ringer. What should I do?
Thanks
Thanks
If you take photos of the process and the floors pans you have replaced and build up a folder of the resto to go with the car if it ever sold , you should not have a problem ,if i were buying it i would like to see the original number in the floor
Iv took photos of the old floor pans before I cut them out and also of the new ones which have been welded in , do u think if I took a pic of the cut out of the numbers next to the new floor pan and then welded the number in place and took another photo that would be OK.
