Picked up this little car yesterday, it was local to me.
It's a one owner car the guys had it for 18 years and it's done £47k miles.
It's a fairly tidy little motor with just one area needing attention on the inner passenger wing. Strangely enough the drivers side is ok.
Paint work is very good and all original.
Plans are to get the bad areas sorted and probably paint the engine bay.
Sort a small oil leak from the engine and it needs an abs sensor.

Yeh mat I commented on your motor when you got it mate it's a wee cracker mate takes me back to the days when I had mine. The clio 1.8 16v are great wee cars and sound amazing with a filter.

Wee up date got the front end and side skirts off. Everything looks good apart from both inner arch areas but picked up a new old stock drivers side inner wing panel just trying to source a passanger side now.
Next step is engine out and get cutting and welding. Although progress may be a bit slow as I have a shed load of things coming up in the next few weeks and months.

I had a diablo red gti about 8 years ago. loved it despite the niggles.
Trouble with these tends to be when moisture gets behind the underseal/rubberised coating and they rust like hell. yet in other places they are still like new.
Great fun little car.
