Keys and Locks?
Hi everyone,
My series 2 rs turbo has been delocked (before I bought it) and the remote is crap, leaving me stood outside the car trying to unlock for about 10 minutes sometimes.
So I bought a new 'complete lock set' from ebay. The problem is the door lock and ignition require separate keys (also looks like the boot lock has a seperate key too!). I've emailed the seller and he said this was a ford safety feature.
Sounds like Bullsh*t to me, I had several mk2 orions years ago and don't remember this being the case, but as I can't remember for definite I thought I'd check here.
So long story short, when the series 2 rs turbo was new did one key work for both the doors and ignition?
Thanks for your help!
