Default Unbelievable! - Car prices

This Anglia sold in January for £11130
http://www.angliacarauctions.co.uk/e...ia-htp-papers/

Now on Ebay for £24000!!

They can ask what they want , the market will decide what they get.

Shame there isn't a Zoopla for these rarer cars, be interesting to see what he gets for it!

The question is how can he justify the increase from what he paid to what he's asking, not what it's worth.
He can only justify it imo if he got it too cheap which I think he did as it would prob cost that to build.
It will appeal to folk who can't afford to build their own car eligible for those rally's or don't have the time.

He doesn't need to justify it. Thats the ticket price take it or leave it. If you seen this for sale at £24000 and thought thats a decent price so you bought it happy then his mark up has nothing to do with you.

Its always the same. If your selling its top of the range showroom condition minter worth double the market value but if your buying its worth fuck all and your doing them a favour taking it away !

It is crazy though.....where will it stop, it seems that those with money are prepared to just get what they want regardless ......I guess it like the house prices years ago, the days of bargains are long gone

dont really see the biggie here tbh

trader buys car at auction
trader advertises it at greater price..

its a fair mark up,but a few of those in a month is a decent wage-it might sit for a year or so for sale ,but profit probably there in the long run,and if you like the car [as the trader/owner] win-win

I doubt this will be a quick flip as it's certainly a niche market, I'm sure it's quite normal for something this unique to aim high and see what happens

This^^^ It is getting a bit mental on how much cars are selling for. Still, if you've got it and want it.
