Cosworth Not Starting...
Right Guys. Need some help,
On Thursday the Car wouldn't start. For love nor money the thing was turning over. Even jump starting wouldn't get it going so I went and bought a new Battery. Upon changing the Battery the car STILL wouldn't start so I went and checked the usual... Plugs, Leads, Dizzi Cap etc to find that the HT Lead to the Dizzi was badly corroded and had snapped of into the Cap. So New Leads, Plugs and Dizzi Cap were ordered and promptly fitted Yesterday. Car still isn't firing up though. I was running fine on Tuesday/Wednesday so I'm stumped now. Only thing I can think of it that since I've changed the Battery it's something to do with the Immobilizer... Any ideas? Or anyone local to Birmingham??

Is it sparking?
Is the fuel pump buzzing?
If it's the pump try the fuel cut off reset under the spare wheel.
No spark at the plugs fit a plug into the main ht lead,if that's sparking then check the phase sensor/firing order.

Right, It is Sparking and the Firing Order is Correct. Fuel Pump is Buzzing so I know it isn't an issue with that. I am looking at the Phase Sensor as a Possible Problem but I'm thinking it might be an Immobilizer Issue Potentially as well. It was running fine prior to Changing the "Flat Battery"

Glad you got it sorted out. Remember the wiring is getting old so a lot of owners get new engine , fans and fuel pump looms.
Even know you may have got it running, it's still old wiring and should be rewired.
