Plugs, Leads, Dizzi Cap etc to find that the HT Lead to the Dizzi was badly corroded and had snapped of into the Cap. So New Leads, Plugs and Dizzi Cap were ordered and promptly fitted Yesterday. Car still isn't firing up though. I was running fine on Tuesday/Wednesday so I'm stumped now. Only thing I can think of it that since I've changed the Battery it's something to do with the Immobilizer... Any ideas? Or anyone local to Birmingham??
Immobiliser would be my main suspect.Sometimes changing the battery can affect them. Get a mobile auto electrician to come and check it out. I had this happen on my 1990 2wd years back.
