Default Problem with dash warning lights

Switch on ignition and all dash lights illuminate as normal and extinguish after a few seconds.

Switch off ignition and Generic Failure light and Worn Brake Pad light are illuminated for several seconds only very dull then extinguish.

Switch on ignition and press A to activate stop/start.Generic Failure light and Worn Brake Pad light illuminate only very dull.

Switch off A both above lights stay on dull for a few seconds then extinguish.

Generic Failure light remains on only dull when stop/start is activated during driving. When driving stop/start deactivated light goes out. Worn Brake Pad light not on when driving.

All fluid levels ok and car starts and drives normally. Any ideas.

It's a KA, have you checked the brake pads?

Thanks Martin haven't checked the brake pads but will do.
The car is a KA Studio reg 2013 12000 miles covered and still on all original components.
