okay I wondered if someone could help me please. I have just bought what is said to be some genuine Escort MK 3 wings! So one I can tell is definitely genuine because it has the ford sticker at the top however I believe the other one is a fake because there is no stickers on it ! Is there any way of telling if these are genuine or not ?

 

is there not a ford stamp anywhere on the panel, i thought they were stamped along the top wing edge....

 

Genuine one should have a small ford oval stamp on the top edge ,look for the one on the genuine one and it should be in a similar place

hope you paid via refundable means...... and have a copy of an advert to prove claimed "genuine"

 

as above genuine wings will have ford stamped on them on the wing rail iirc

 

Not always stamped in the same place,but should be one somewhere what colour are they should be a dark grey black.
