How to tell genuine front wings??
How do i tell if the wings on my 3door are genuine? From what i can see its never been bumped, certenly never crashed.

on the lip were they are spot welded towards the front of the car they will have the ford logo stamped in them and will have a date stamp up near the scuttle panel tho if they have been painted over they will be difficult to see

Is there any way of telling from the spot welds as mine has be painted and i cant see the stamps

Pretty sure the seam sealer is all wrong on yours. Any I've seen have a bead run along the join.

this is from my mk1 3 door its never been repainted or repaired and the ford logo isnt the clearest to see
