Not enough end float in the first place most likly
Riding the clutch-no
Semi siezed clutch cable holding clutch on load slightly or clutch ratchet not releasing when foot off pedal

Cheers Tim

If it was end float it would be both sides wouldn't it and nothing wrong with the clutch system at all it's also sized the cam in the head could that pull it over on one thrust the crank trying to turn the sized cam

If the cam has siezed in the head it sounds like you have oil supply problems did you have good oil pressure before it failed

When it was cold it was at 5 bar when ref hot it was at just under a bar but just after I got it back from the rebuild it suffered with oil pressure I found out it was the pressure release valve sticking just don't see why it killed one side thrust

If it was the thrust at the rear of the engine which had more damage it is because the rear one has load on it when the clutch is applied .
So if the oil pressure was low it will always be the rear which recives more damage.
As a matter of interest who supplied your oil pump.

I bought a burton high pressure pump for mine when my engine was built as couldn't find a genuine oil pump . I eventually found a genuine pump so changed it before the engine was fired for the first time .

Since then iveheard a few people say they had burton pumps and they failed .

Genuine cvh pumps whether it be for s1 or s2 cranks are like rocking horse shit to get hold of these days sadly

i have a genuine one in the sealed bag and took umbrage at paying Ford 89 quid I think it was for it all those years ago.
This is meant for my spare engine but is probably worth more than the engine, crazy world of RS Turbos, lol
