I have a set of rear lights in garage that look smoked, they are gen ford lights, did ford make smoked darker rear lights??

No ,lots of people thought they did, called them the 90 spec lights, like the sapphire ,but they were never made from ford in a smoked version

I bought my set from Essex Racing 10 years ago, the ones that are red and smoke with the nice black border. They were hard to find back then, even Essex Racing have closed now.
Maybe check Speedshack for a nice second hand set?
Glad I took them off, ready to fit to my next Mk4, which is inevitable...
