Default GT3076.63 vs GT3076.82

I' building a Ford Sierra/Sapphire Rs Cosworth 2wd project.
I have made a lot of peripheral mods and now is the time to select between 2 almost same turbos GT3076.63 and GT3076.82
As you see the only difference is exhaust housing, I want to reach maximum bhp from this turbo (525Hp) and to have a wide range of power band.
I believe that .63 will give me HP sooner than 0.82 and at higher rpms I'll have to lower boost to maintain maximum HP.
What is your opinion?
Has anyone a turbo like .63 or .82 dyno graph to reply (with specs if possible to see what do I have to expect)

I can only say that you should consider the cost of the Borg Warner range of efr twin scroll and use the correct manifold. The small ones can do that power and will be excellent.

I know about BW EFR models but I already have GT3076 but I don't know what to do with exhaust housing.
Is GT3076.63 slower than T35? (spool and boost)

Ah, gotcha. My friend had 500 bhp on the 3076 and found it very laggy and it was well mapped, not sure on the housing he had, it is on an old thread on here so will try to find.

My T35 was laggy compared to my efr though.

Even though apparently better turbos efr setups are triple the price of gt turbo setups, not everyone can afford that...

I know, that is why I said to consider the cost nothing worse than buying the wrong thing and then buying again, I didn't realise he already has the turbo.

I bought a twin scroll 0.82 for my GT, have not run it yet but Mark said it will come in quicker that 0.63 std... someone else said a 1.06 twin scroll would be quick too but I find that hard to believe...

Forget trying to compare the ar numbers from twin scroll to single scroll. Also a .82 housing on twin scroll is to small to work at its best without surge lower down and capping hp at the top.

I had a GT3076R with a 0.63 housing and it was utter shite - prob lag until 4500 rpm and then all the power came in by 5500rpm - was horrible to drive and would just spin everywhere.

I would be looking at BW now
