The RS500 YBD block is a correct cosworth replacement one, so not allocated a YBD number above the water pump on the front, so this is perfect for an RS500 road car thats missing its original engine.
Standard 90.8 bore throughout with no wear lip, so has had very little use, but has been nicely seasoned. Its the stronger motorsport version of the YBD engine as used in all the RS500 touring cars of the day.
Burtons want £3000 for these and there ones have aftermarket crank caps fitted, where as this one is as it left Cosworth complete.
I have had them lightly honed just to remove most of the glaze, and check for any damage, so some light staining may still show in the photos, as I wanted to leave them to be finalised by the next builder who will final hone to size.
£2250 no offers thanks

The other is a 4x4 YBJ 200 block from a production replacement engine, so it has been allocated a YBJ number, but there is no chassis number stamped on the side of the block.
Again, standard 90.8 bore with no wear ridge, but also nicely seasoned, this is a proper Cosworth cast block not one of the later and apparently weaker post production replacement blocks made overseas.
This is the block to use if you are planning on building a large horsepower engine.
£1500 again no offers.

Collection from Cardiff, or I can strap to a pallet for collection by your courier once payment has cleared.
