Hi Guys, just after a little advice.

I'm fitting rear cossie discs, standard rs turbo fronts (for now) with no abs nor rear proportioning valves. With 2 outlets on master cylinder. (Im aware the rear could be overpowered, hence the next question!)

just about to run new copper lines all over, am I best...

1) each outlet from m/c to an inner wing, then T to a front caliper and opposite rear caliper.

Or

2) one outlet from m/c to fronts. One to rear with a bias valve. (If this is the case, do I need to T the front symmetrically for equal pressure?)

I guess the symmetrical question would also apply to option 1...?

No 2 - one mc outlet to fronts and the other to bias valve to rears.

Saying that, Jano (verus creations) posted some good advice this week on the same topic.

 

Thanks Simon, after lots of research across various branded forums this seems like the best option.

Can you tell me if my T between calipers needs to be dead centred? Ie exact same length of copper from t to each front caliper? Same for the pair of rears...

I'm also hunting for a bulkhead/brake bar pedal grommet. Where the hell can I find one? Do they share same part with any other ford?

 

My Advice would be to pay someone professional to do it for you.

If you are putting bigger discs on the back, put bigger discs on the front to keep braking performance in proportion. The last thing you want to do is lose control due to the things that are meant to give you control over your speed!
