Default Saffy anti roll bar on 3dr?

I have put new bola wheels on my 3dr, 17 inch, and the front wheels sit quite far forward in the arches. If I fit a 2wd saff anti roll bar, will this pull the wheels back slightly? I've heard it will, but want to check.
Cheers

Sapphire ARB will make the situation worse, are you sure yours has the H13 early 3 door one ?

I haven't looked at the number to be honest mark.
I'll have to take a look. It may have a saffy one on it. 😳

No

Surprisingly difficult to get hold of !

My 5 door Sierra front wheel position with H14 for comparison.

So the H13 will bring the wheel.to tje rear of the car making it look better.
As for handling what would that do?

2wd saff ARB is the same as the late 3 doors / rs500

4x4 saff had a ARB that pushed the wheels forward if fitted to a 2wd saff or 3 door

The length remained the same , they just altered the shape , this made the car much better on the road compared with the early bar

So you think I'd be better just putting up with the wheels sitting forward or try and source a H13?

All the 2wd ARBs , early or late sit the wheels in exactly the same place ,, the only one that pushes the wheels forward in the arch is a 4x4 saff item

Surely if the mounting face where the TCA washers fit is further back on the H13 it will give less caster angle

Default ARB

Yes Mark, whereever it was gained i.e. trough shape(which is effectively length) or length the castor was increased by what I believe to be 1 degree from the H13 ARB to the H14.

I switched my 3 door to a 2wd saff bar , it pushes the front wheels forward 5mm . with this you get a better turn in and feels more stable at speed .

I have a H13 and a H14 arb here

I have checked them and the most i can get is a 3mm between the 2 ( the H14 BEING THE LONGER ) so thats the 1 degree gain.

I doubt that will cause you any big issues .

You can quite clearly see that the shape between H13 / H14 is totaly different .

Cant you move the front bumper forwrd a tiny bit ?

Going back to the H13 will make the car drive worse ,, even more so if you have bigger wheels

I have never had any issues with the rs500 or later 3 doors that has the H14 fitted as std
