I'm trying to find out if there are any companies that modify a standard pedal box.

I had planned to use a pedal box in my track car, but my size and legs along with the cage mean it's not practical, unless I chop off some of my legs.

As I've removed the servo etc, I now don't have the room to put back in a stock arrangement, so need either my pedal assembly modified to run separate master cylinders for front and rear, or a way of making it work with a different servo.

The car is a Mk4/5 Fiesta, and it has a bar linking the pedal to the master cylinder.

I can try and get some pics if needed.

 

I think most people fire up the Mig welder like I did. I have used the Sierra Cossie master cylinder block (4x4 ABS) but mated it to the Pug 205 pedal box and used a reyland hydraulic clutch conversion to adapt to the pedal box, then I split the cossie abs pressure pump so it acts as a remote servo (Wizziat123 on here makes a bespoke loom) this way you can mount the pressure pump anywhere you like.

You would need to find a fabricator if you don't fancy doing it yourself but It is a time consuming job with lots of trial and error so would be expensive.

You can buy remote servos to do similar buy they are expensive and bulky.

 

Unfortunately I can't weld, and hoped I could find someone that could make one up, but as I suspected it could be expensive and complex.

Would a remote servo require a link to the brake pedal? The standard had a bar linking the pedal tomth servo.

 

Yes, but I am not sure how they link. Not easy to fix if you cannot solve yourself. I was scared of welding for 10 yrs plus. Bought a mid range mig and decent gas and now I weld all the time. It wouldn't be great to learn on a pedal box but it is easy with a good mig and good, non hobby, gas.
