You wouldn't think people would be mad enough to actually do something like that would you!

I even know someone that did it, an ex colleague's son! Took his Corsa down to the sea for some pics.. Yep, got stuck and same tide came in. Strangely enough nobody got to him in time either, they weren't overly sympathetic let's say lol

 

Didn't somebody do this somewhere on the Thames with a new Range Rover?

 

Insurance should not have to pay out for peoples deliberate fucking stupidity.

Or at least it should not force up the premiums of those who arent fucking retards by having to pay for those who are.

 

I don't think they will pay out, bearing in mind he was not driving on a road at the time and the tide coming in is an 'act of god'

Does that act of god rule really exsist as if your car gets flooded is that an act of god also?

 

I'd be surprised if that argument would ever stand up given no gods exist, they'd need to prove some did exist, and that they caused whatever happened.

But then those who believe some do exist...if it was true, they they would be responsible for everything that happens, not just the weather or oddball events.

But parking on a beach, near the sea....that's just an act of sheer fucking stupidity.
