Im looking to fit a Bosch 044 fuel pump , does anyone know where to get the inlet and outlet fittings with push on ends inlet and outlet for the fuel hose or just the size of the fittings so I could ask my local hydraulic supplier .

 

Inlet is M18x1.5 but out is a banjo/eye type fitting, I get my bits from torques on ebay if you have't got the pump yet they do it as a kit.

Just make sure you buy from a reputable source as there are fake 044 pumps out there at the moment.

 

Does anyone know of fake pumps actually failing,or how bad they really are,flow pressure etc....
I don't plan on buying one,just curious.
I have a bosch in mine,or so i think,,,i will have a proper look next time i take it out.

 

There was a thread on here a while back about the fakes with some pictures so you could see the difference between the genuine Bosch 044 pump and the Chinese fake.

 

I got the pump from Stephan on here , it was original box so it should be fine .
