Default wheel spacer question on mk4 escort

I am using the special 'Ghia' wheel bolts (with the wider cup) on my Mk4 Escort with 16" Mondeo alloys. My question is what is the maximum spacer size I can use on the rear whilst still leaving enough thread to bolt up the wheels safely?

Cheers

Whatever size spacer you add, add onto bolt length...

So you mean I will need longer 'Ghia' bolts?
If so I wasn't aware there were different lengths of this bolt

Just buy longer wheel bolts for Ford escort...
Get on eBay or a local alloy wheel shop...

I'd have thought Peter Lloyd Rallying sold them to be honest.

It sounds silly but don't forget about the arch to wheel clearance with spacers .
